According to
Wikipedia, "Multimedia
is media that utilizes a combination of
different content forms...in contrast to
media which only utilize traditional forms
of printed or hand-produced text and still
graphics. In general, multimedia includes a
combination of text, audio, still images,
animation, video, and interactivity content
forms."
Keeping in line with our goal to keep things
simple we view multimedia as a way to
utilize current technology to simplify the
display, presentation, and storage of our
memories. Photo albums, scrapbooks and other
bulky items used to collect and display our
memories can be a nice way to share those
memories one-on-one, but they can also be a
little cumbersome when you want to show
things to a group of people. Plus you need
to have space to store those items.
Having your memories transferred to a
multimedia disk can be a convenient and
efficient way to preserve those memories.
